Dr. Parnika Gupta

Postdoc fellow in Spring 2024 (PhD @ Tyndall National Institute, 2023; M.S @NTUST, 2019)

Parnika Gupta is currently completing her PhD research, which focusses on the design, assembly, and testing of glass interposers for co-packaging photonic integrated circuits and electronic integrated circuits under the supervision of Prof. Peter O’Brien at Tyndall National Institute. The aim for her research is to get design and assembly rules around moving to scalable wafer level packaging in the photonics domain. Parnika received her M.S degree from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2019, where she worked on the design, fabrication and characterization of silicon micro-mirrors for packaging active and passive photonic devices. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from MDU, Rohtak in 2016. Being an enthusiastic bookworm, her reading list includes works from James Joyce and Agatha Christie.
